OJTM : Open LCL Judo Team Mediterranean, is the first team tournament held in the city of Nice.

The Olympic Judo Nice, club organizer, first in the league of PACA, has invited 23 teams of Mediterranean countries to the 1st edition of the OJTM which will be held :

On 20 and 21 June 2009 at Salle Serge Leyrit

This first edition is exclusively male, and participants will include juniors and seniors.

Teams from Algeria, Morocco, Greece, Italy, Spain and even a team from Indonesia will attend the tournament on Saturday. They will have the opportunity to attend a gala of judo in the evening and discover the city of Nice through a tour on Sunday morning.

This tournament, which is unprecedented in Nice, seeks to educate niçois, and especially the youngest, the benefits of sport, whether physical or moral, but also in different cultures and acceptance of others by practicing the judo.

You should know that judo is an individual sport, but thanks to the team competition, it takes an entirely different aspect to sports: mutual support, group cohesion, etc.
